I am Danielle DiNatale, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Master of Social Work, West Chester University), having worked in the education setting as a Licensed Social Worker/Mental Health Therapist for the past nine years.
I have extensive experience working with school aged children, both within and apart from the Special Education environment, offering supportive mental health counseling to help them overcome barriers preventing them from achieving personal and academic success.
I am able to offer assistance to parents who may feel intimidated or overwhelmed by the Special Education process by offering a mental health perspective to better serve the student within the educational setting.
In addition to my work experience in school based counseling, I also have experience providing outpatient therapy for adolescents, adults, couples and families. I find this work very rewarding as it provides an opportunity for us to address personal needs on an individual basis.
I use solution-focused and cognitive behavioral approaches so clients can gain an understanding of how their thoughts and feelings influence their behaviors. With this evidenced based approach, I help clients learn strategies and techniques that allow them to achieve positive change.
I welcome the opportunity to discuss your needs in the hope that I can be of assistance.
